From experience I add, "when i can keep your eyes on what is most important (Christ)all else falls into place... by HIS hand". Remember to ignore anything that isn't essential (easier said than done, I know!)

My thoughts are with you, your hubby, and your girls. Hopefully by next Sunday morning you'll be looking back with not just relief, but pride at how you steered you way through it all.

Live performances...wow!Morticciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01606043175114111707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5592061068495749121.post-1397454288494824022008-07-27T23:23:00.000-04:002008-07-27T23:23:00.000-04:00I too suffer from the yes syndrome. But I try hard to work on my boundaries, and set myself as a priority once in a while.

I will send you lots of positive energy this week, and I hope you are able to find some moments of happiness each day.Minerva Turkeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07420188737230865279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5592061068495749121.post-40825239287059962672008-07-27T22:42:00.000-04:002008-07-27T22:42:00.000-04:00I think it's in the nature of people who have care...I think it's in the nature of people who have careers in a service industry to take on too much. That's one of the things that makes you such a great nurse. But it's one of the things that can push you over the edge. Take every day as it comes. Just do what needs to be done that day. And you'll make it through.

I'm thinking of you. Try to remember that this life is supposed to be fun. Believe it or not at some point in life you will probably learn to say "no" to some of the less important stuff in life. It may take an occasional "overload" to learn the lesson though!Kayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07043426076082597747noreply@blogger.com
